A hospital based in Kolkata, West Bengal is looking for a dedicated Ward Boy to join its ward team. The selected candidate will assist nursing and medical staff in delivering day-to-day patient care and maintaining a clean, safe ward environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with mobility, personal hygiene, and basic daily needs
- Transporting patients within the hospital premises as directed
- Supporting nursing staff with non-clinical tasks on the ward
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the ward area
- Handling and disposing of medical waste in accordance with hospital protocols
Candidates should be physically fit, attentive, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospital environment. Prior experience in a similar ward support or patient-care assistant role will be an advantage.
This position is based on-site in Kolkata and requires availability for shift-based work as per hospital requirements.
