This opportunity is with a leading private sector bank seeking a Gold Loan Valuer to join its team in the Visakhapatnam Rural mandal region. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the bank's gold lending business by accurately evaluating gold ornaments and articles presented as collateral by customers.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assess the purity, weight, and market value of gold items in accordance with the bank's established guidelines and regulatory standards. The valuer ensures that loan amounts sanctioned are in line with the actual worth of the pledged assets, thereby mitigating risk for the institution.
- Conduct precise valuation of gold ornaments and jewellery submitted by loan applicants
