The primary responsibility of this role is to identify suitable projects on Upwork and other online freelancing platforms and submit compelling, targeted bids to secure new business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online bidding strategies, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to craft persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements. Prior experience working on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, or similar marketplaces will be considered an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and identifying relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance portals
- Writing and submitting professional, customised bid proposals
- Following up with potential clients to convert leads into confirmed projects
- Maintaining records of bids submitted and outcomes achieved
