About the role
The employer is looking for an experienced Tool Maker to join their manufacturing team in Kochi, Kerala. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining precision tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures used in production processes.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Fabricating, assembling, and repairing tools, dies, moulds, and fixtures to required specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical blueprints
- Operating conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Inspecting finished tools and components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in tool-making or a related precision engineering discipline, along with a strong understanding of machining techniques and quality control practices. Familiarity with measurement instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and CMMs is expected.
