A well-established tea company is looking for a skilled Tea Taster to be based at its Coimbatore office in Tamil Nadu. This is a specialist role suited to professionals with a trained palate and a thorough understanding of tea varieties, quality parameters, and industry standards.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the sensory evaluation of teas, assessing liquor, leaf, and infusion characteristics to determine quality and suitability for blending or procurement purposes.
- Conduct systematic tasting and grading of tea samples
- Assess quality parameters including appearance, aroma, colour, and taste
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations and quality findings
- Collaborate with procurement and blending teams as required
