The employer is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer specialising in castings and machined castings to join their team in Nashik, Maharashtra. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring supplier performance related to cast and machined cast components. Key activities include conducting supplier audits, managing non-conformances, driving root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with vendors.
- Assess and qualify suppliers of castings and machined castings
- Manage non-conformance reports and lead corrective action processes
- Conduct on-site supplier audits and capability assessments
- Collaborate with internal engineering and procurement teams to resolve quality issues
- Track and report supplier quality metrics and improvement trends
