The employer is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer specialising in castings and machined castings. This role is central to maintaining and improving the quality of components sourced from external suppliers, ensuring they align with defined technical and manufacturing specifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating supplier capabilities, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions where quality standards are not met. Close collaboration with both internal engineering teams and external vendors will be essential to this position.
- Manage quality assurance processes for cast and machined cast components
- Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments
- Identify non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and production teams
