A well-established Hindi media organisation is seeking a skilled Sub Editor to be based at its Chandigarh office. The selected candidate will work within the editorial desk, ensuring that news copy meets the organisation's standards for accuracy, clarity, and style before publication.
The role requires strong command over Hindi language and grammar, along with the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure. The Sub Editor will be responsible for proofreading, editing, and preparing content for both print and digital platforms.
- Edit and sub-edit news articles and features in Hindi
- Ensure factual accuracy and adherence to editorial guidelines
- Write headlines and captions as required
- Coordinate with reporters and senior editors to finalise copy on time
