The employer is looking for a capable and detail-oriented Sub Editor to join their editorial team in Chandigarh. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, editing, and refining content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Editing and proofreading written content for grammar, style, and factual accuracy
- Ensuring all published material meets editorial standards and guidelines
- Coordinating with reporters and senior editors to manage content flow and meet deadlines
- Rewriting or restructuring copy where necessary to improve readability and impact
Candidates with a background in journalism or media, along with strong proficiency in Hindi and/or English, are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a sub-editing or editorial capacity will be considered an advantage.
