A prominent Hindi-language media organisation is looking for a skilled Sub Editor to be based at its Chandigarh office. The selected candidate will play a key role in the editorial workflow, ensuring that content meets the publication's standards of accuracy, clarity, and style before it goes to print or digital platforms.
The Sub Editor will be responsible for reviewing and refining incoming copy, correcting grammatical and factual errors, writing headlines and captions, and coordinating with reporters and senior editors to meet tight deadlines. A strong command of Hindi and a sound understanding of journalistic principles are essential for this position.
- Edit and proofread articles for grammar, accuracy, and house style
