Steward – Pre-Opening Hotel & Resort
A steward is sought to join the food and beverage team at a hotel and resort currently in its pre-opening phase in the Varanasi region of Uttar Pradesh.
About the role
This opportunity is part of the pre-opening team for a hotel and resort located in the Mirzapur–Varanasi area of Uttar Pradesh. Joining at the pre-opening stage offers the chance to help establish departmental standards and contribute to the property's launch from the ground up.
The steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and food and beverage service areas, supporting the culinary and service teams in their day-to-day operations, and ensuring that equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, stored, and readily available at all times.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Supporting the food and beverage team during service periods
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of crockery, cutlery, and glassware
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assisting with waste disposal and maintaining back-of-house cleanliness
