This role is an opportunity to lead a team of software engineers working on Search Platforms within Google's Search organisation, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, requiring someone who can set engineering direction while growing the careers of those around them.
As an Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team through complex, large-scale platform challenges that underpin Google Search. This includes defining roadmaps, making architectural decisions, and ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery at scale.
