About the role
This role is an opportunity to lead software engineering efforts within the Search Platforms team, working on the systems and infrastructure that power Google Search. The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and sits within Google's broader Search organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing engineering teams, setting technical direction, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable platform solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities span people management, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on technical oversight of platform development.
