Software Engineer – Full-Time | India

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications across the full development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and working solutions.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive technical feedback to maintain high code quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of system architecture, APIs, and database schemas.
• Work within an agile sprint framework, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices to continuously improve team capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised Indian or international university.
• 2–5 years of hands-on software development experience with proficiency in at least one language such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
