About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our growing technology team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable applications that meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows tailored to business requirements across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other ServiceNow product suites.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver end-to-end solutions on the platform.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patch management, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain integration solutions between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise applications using APIs, MID Servers, and Integration Hub connectors.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and release notes for all developed solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot platform issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation within the ServiceNow environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, and experience working with ServiceNow Studio and Update Sets.
  • Demonstrated experience with at least two or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, SecOps, or HR Service Delivery.
  • Possession of a valid ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework, service management principles, and experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
