This is a senior individual-contributor engineering role within MakeMyTrip's backend technology organisation, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services that power millions of travel transactions.
Key responsibilities and expectations include:
- System design: Designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend architectures suited to high-traffic production environments.
- Development: Writing clean, well-tested code and contributing to core backend services and APIs.
- Collaboration: Working closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.
- Mentorship: Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and participating in code reviews.
