Senior Software Engineer – Devices (India)
JumpCloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Devices team in India. This role focuses on building and maintaining device management software for a global identity and access management platform.
About the role
The Devices team at JumpCloud is responsible for engineering the software that manages and secures end-user devices across diverse operating systems and enterprise environments. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, the selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of robust device management capabilities at scale.
This is a senior individual-contributor role that calls for deep technical expertise in software engineering, a strong understanding of systems-level programming, and the ability to work collaboratively within a distributed, cross-functional team. The engineer will be expected to take ownership of complex technical problems and drive solutions from conception through production.
Key areas of focus for this position include:
- Device management software: Building and maintaining features that enable organisations to manage endpoints reliably and securely.
- Cross-platform development: Working across operating systems to ensure consistent, high-quality device management experiences.
