Senior IP Design Verification Engineer – XBAR IP
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior IP Design Verification Engineer specialising in XBAR IP to join its team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role focuses on verifying high-performance crossbar interconnect IP designs.
About the role
This is an opportunity to work as a Senior IP Design Verification Engineer on XBAR (Crossbar) IP at NVIDIA's Bengaluru engineering centre. The position sits within a team responsible for ensuring the correctness, performance, and reliability of complex interconnect IP blocks used across NVIDIA's hardware products.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for XBAR IP, writing testbenches, assertions, and coverage models to validate design functionality. Close collaboration with design and architecture teams will be central to the role, requiring strong communication skills alongside deep technical expertise.
Key responsibilities and requirements include:
- Design and implementation of verification environments for crossbar interconnect IP
- Developing directed and constrained-random test scenarios to achieve thorough functional coverage
- Debugging simulation failures and working with designers to drive closure
- Experience with industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and/or other hardware description and verification languages
- Strong understanding of on-chip interconnect protocols and microarchitecture concepts
