About the role
The employer is looking for a Senior Assistant – ARFF (Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting) to join its airport operations team in Mangaluru, Karnataka. The role sits within the Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting function, which is responsible for safeguarding aircraft, passengers, and airport infrastructure in the event of an emergency.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out ARFF duties in accordance with established civil aviation safety standards, respond to aircraft and structural emergencies, and support the overall fire-safety readiness of the aerodrome. Maintaining equipment, participating in drills, and adhering to regulatory compliance requirements will form a core part of day-to-day responsibilities.
Candidates should possess the relevant qualifications, certifications, and hands-on experience required for an ARFF role at a commercial airport. A demonstrated understanding of DGCA or equivalent aviation fire-fighting regulations would be an advantage.
