Upstox is seeking an experienced SDE III (Backend) to join its engineering team. This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend services that power one of India's leading stock-broking platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in backend engineering, including system design, API development, and working with distributed systems at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-grade software.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient backend systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps
- Work with cross-functional teams including product, data, and frontend engineering
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best engineering practices
