Screener – Airport Security

The employer is looking for a diligent and alert individual to join its airport security team in Mangaluru, Karnataka as a Screener. This is a frontline security role responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen passengers, cabin baggage, checked baggage, and cargo using approved security equipment and procedures
• Operate X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, and other screening devices
• Conduct physical frisking and hand-baggage checks in accordance with aviation security guidelines
• Identify and report prohibited items or suspicious behaviour to supervisory staff
• Maintain accurate records and adhere strictly to regulatory and compliance requirements

Candidate Profile:

• Ability to remain focused and attentive during extended screening shifts
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous manner with passengers
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Prior experience in airport security or a related field is an advantage
