Screener – Airport Security

The employer is looking for a diligent and alert individual to join the airport security team at Mangaluru, Karnataka as a Screener. This is a frontline role that plays a critical part in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and checked luggage using approved security equipment and procedures.
• Monitor X-ray screens and operate security scanners to detect prohibited or suspicious items.
• Perform physical frisking and document checks in accordance with aviation security guidelines.
• Report any security anomalies or breaches to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with passengers and airport staff.

Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in security screening, aviation security, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) regulations and standard operating procedures is an advantage.
• Must be physically fit, attentive to detail, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
