SAP UX Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced SAP UX Consultant to join our growing technology team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering intuitive, user-centered experiences across SAP platforms, with a strong focus on SAP Fiori, SAP Build, and related UX frameworks. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and development teams to transform complex enterprise workflows into seamless, engaging digital experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-driven professional who understands both the technical depth of SAP ecosystems and the human-centered principles of modern UX design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Fiori applications and custom UX solutions aligned with SAP's design guidelines and enterprise usability standards.
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user journey maps, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as SAP Build (formerly AppGyver), Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP, BASIS, and functional consultants to ensure seamless integration of UX designs into backend systems and business processes.
• Perform UX assessments and audits on existing SAP landscapes to identify pain points and recommend improvements that enhance user adoption and productivity.
• Develop and maintain UX design standards, pattern libraries, and documentation to ensure consistency across all SAP-related digital touchpoints.
• Lead workshops and training sessions with business users and internal teams to promote UX best practices and drive a culture of user-centric thinking.
• Stay current with SAP UX roadmaps, emerging design trends, and new platform capabilities to continuously improve solution quality and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in SAP UX or enterprise UX consulting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAP UI5 (SAPUI5), and SAP Build platforms, along with a solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments.
• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent, along with strong knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies, human-centered design principles, and agile project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP Fiori certification or SAP UX-related certifications are considered a strong advantage.
• Prior experience working in a consulting environment or large-scale SAP implementation projects across industries such as manufacturing, retail, or financial services is preferred.
