SAP UX Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced SAP UX Consultant to join our growing technology team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional user experiences across SAP platforms, bridging the gap between complex enterprise functionality and intuitive, human-centered design. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and development teams to create seamless digital experiences that drive productivity and user adoption. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Fiori applications and UI5-based solutions aligned with SAP design guidelines and business requirements.
• Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions across SAP modules.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as SAP Build, Figma, or Adobe XD to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical consultants to ensure UX designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with system architecture.
• Define and maintain UX design standards, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all SAP touchpoints.
• Lead workshops and design thinking sessions with business users and stakeholders to identify pain points and co-create innovative solutions.
• Evaluate existing SAP interfaces and provide actionable recommendations to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
• Stay current with the latest SAP UX trends, Fiori updates, and enterprise design best practices to continuously enhance solution quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in UX design with at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 environments.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools including Figma, SAP Build Apps, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of SAP design principles, Fiori design language, and enterprise UX methodologies including design thinking and agile practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, or SAP Ariba environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 and a commitment to inclusive design principles.
