SAP UX Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced SAP UX Consultant to join our growing technology team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional user experiences across SAP platforms, bridging the gap between complex enterprise functionality and intuitive, human-centered design. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP developers, and project managers to transform legacy SAP interfaces into modern, engaging, and efficient digital experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications and UI5-based interfaces that align with business requirements and SAP UX best practices and design guidelines.
• Conduct thorough user research, persona development, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, SAP Build, or Adobe XD to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP, BASIS, and functional consultants to ensure seamless integration of UX designs into the technical SAP landscape.
• Perform UX audits and assessments of existing SAP systems to identify usability gaps and recommend improvements that enhance productivity and user satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain design systems, pattern libraries, and UX documentation to ensure consistency across all SAP touchpoints and application modules.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and stakeholder presentations to align business goals with user needs and drive consensus on design direction.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP UX trends, Fiori updates, and enterprise design innovations to continuously bring fresh and relevant ideas to client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 4–7 years of experience in UX design within an SAP environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Build tools, with a solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise modules.
• Proficiency in industry-standard UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Demonstrated experience in applying design thinking methodologies, conducting user research, and translating findings into actionable design solutions.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-platform compatibility in enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• SAP Fiori certification or relevant UX/design certifications are considered a strong advantage.
