Sales Officer Goa

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients across assigned territories within Goa through field visits, cold calls, and networking activities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the regional sales manager, ensuring consistent performance and revenue contribution.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct regular market surveys and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and opportunities for product or service positioning.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries to the reporting manager.
• Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products, resolution of customer complaints, and smooth execution of promotional campaigns.
• Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and local business forums to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and service agreements with clients in alignment with company policies and profit margin guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG, pharmaceuticals, financial services, or B2B sector in the Goa or Konkan region.
• Strong knowledge of the local Goa market, including key business districts, customer demographics, and regional distribution networks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Konkani; proficiency in Marathi is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, CRM tools, and basic data reporting; ability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory on a daily basis.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
