HDFC Securities Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing team at the Goregaon branch in Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to lead business development initiatives, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional financial solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services or broking, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, managing a high-performing team, and contributing to the overall success of one of India's most trusted financial services brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition of new clients for equity broking, mutual funds, insurance, and other financial products offered by HDFC Securities across the Goregaon territory.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives and relationship managers to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market penetration and grow the branch's overall business portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), retail investors, and corporate clients to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor team performance through regular reviews, providing coaching, training, and actionable feedback to ensure continuous improvement and skill development.
- Collaborate with internal product teams, research analysts, and operations to deliver seamless and superior client experiences.
- Ensure full compliance with SEBI regulations, internal company policies, and all applicable regulatory guidelines in all sales activities and client interactions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in sales within the financial services, broking, banking, or wealth management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with prior team management experience being a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products including equities, derivatives, mutual funds, IPOs, bonds, and insurance products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients across diverse backgrounds and investment profiles.
- NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) or NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certifications is essential.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office applications, and familiarity with trading platforms and digital financial tools.
