The employer, an automotive company based in Gurugram, Haryana, is looking for an RQC Executive – New Product Development (NPD) to join its quality function. The position sits at the intersection of incoming quality control and new product introduction, making it central to ensuring components and materials meet defined standards before they enter the production cycle.
The role is expected to involve inspection and evaluation of received parts and materials as part of the NPD process, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to address quality deviations, and supporting documentation and reporting requirements associated with new product launches.
Key areas of responsibility may include:
- Conducting received quality control (RQC) checks on incoming components related to new product development
- Identifying, recording, and escalating non-conformances in a timely manner
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, and production
- Supporting PPAP, APQP, or similar quality processes as applicable to new product introductions
