About the role
The employer is seeking an RQC Executive – New Product Development (NPD) to join its quality function. The role sits within the NPD team and focuses on received quality control, ensuring that incoming components and materials meet defined quality standards before they enter the production process.
The selected candidate will be expected to support new product introduction activities from a quality perspective, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve non-conformances and drive continuous improvement in incoming material quality.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Inspection and evaluation of incoming parts and raw materials against approved drawings and specifications
- Raising and tracking non-conformance reports (NCRs) and working with suppliers on corrective actions
- Supporting PPAP, APQP, and other NPD quality processes
- Maintaining inspection records and quality documentation in line with applicable standards
This is a shop-floor-aligned quality role suited to candidates with a background in automotive manufacturing and a working knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, and control plans.
