About the role
The employer is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector (Softline/Garment) to join its inspection team in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu — one of India's foremost textile and knitwear manufacturing hubs.
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out product inspections at supplier and factory sites, evaluating softline and garment merchandise against defined quality criteria and buyer specifications. This includes checking workmanship, measurements, labelling, packaging, and overall product conformity.
- Conduct pre-shipment and in-line inspections of softline and garment products
- Assess samples against approved specifications and international quality benchmarks
- Prepare clear, accurate inspection reports for clients and internal teams
- Identify defects and non-conformances, and communicate findings promptly
This position is well-suited to candidates with a background in textile quality control or garment manufacturing who are comfortable working independently across multiple factory locations in and around Tiruppur.
