Quality Inspector – Softline / Garment

About the role
This position is based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, one of India's leading textile and garment manufacturing hubs. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of softline and garment products to verify that they meet the required quality benchmarks before shipment.
The role requires hands-on evaluation of fabric, construction, measurements, and finishing across a variety of garment types. The inspector will document findings accurately and communicate results to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing pre-shipment and in-line quality inspections of softline and garment products
- Checking products against client specifications, including measurements, workmanship, and packaging
- Preparing detailed inspection reports and submitting them within stipulated timelines
- Identifying defects and non-conformances and escalating issues as appropriate
