About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and regular project status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, technical documents, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
• Identify potential technical risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept through commissioning.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any technical issues or failures identified during project execution or post-deployment phases.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to the engineering domain, recommending improvements to existing processes and systems.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related discipline) from a recognized university or institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
• Demonstrated proficiency in engineering design tools, software, and industry-standard methodologies applicable to the relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of Indian and international engineering codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks governing the relevant sector.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional Engineering certification or membership with a recognized engineering body such as Institution of Engineers India (IEI) will be considered an added advantage.
