An opportunity exists for a Payroll Officer to join a manufacturing organisation based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The role focuses on payroll processing and related HR compliance functions.
About the role
A Nagpur-based plastics manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to support its human resources and finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of employee payroll across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing monthly payroll for all employees in accordance with applicable statutory requirements
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee compensation data
- Ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws, tax regulations, and social security obligations
- Coordinating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies
Candidates with demonstrated experience in payroll administration, a sound understanding of Indian statutory compliance, and strong numerical accuracy are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel will be an advantage.
