Strada is seeking a Payroll Country Owner to manage and oversee payroll operations for Australia and New Zealand, based out of Kochi, Kerala.

About the role

This role is responsible for owning end-to-end payroll delivery for Australia and New Zealand within Strada's payroll operations function. The Payroll Country Owner serves as the subject-matter expert for country-specific payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and operational processes.

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with local statutory obligations, while collaborating closely with internal teams including HR, finance, and technology to maintain service quality and compliance standards.

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for AU and NZ payroll delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory changes in Australia and New Zealand
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve escalations
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance activities related to country payroll

This position is based in Kochi, Kerala, and is suited to an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in Australian and/or New Zealand payroll management within a large or multinational organisation.
