Payroll Country Owner – Australia & New Zealand
Strada is seeking a Payroll Country Owner to manage and oversee payroll operations for Australia and New Zealand, based out of Kochi, Kerala.
About the role
This role is responsible for owning end-to-end payroll delivery for Australia and New Zealand within Strada's payroll operations function. The Payroll Country Owner serves as the primary subject-matter expert for in-country payroll compliance, processes, and client outcomes.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain deep knowledge of AU and NZ payroll legislation, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, and act as an escalation point for complex payroll queries. Collaboration with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors will be a core part of the role.
- Own and manage payroll delivery for Australia and New Zealand
- Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and legislative requirements
- Act as the in-country subject-matter expert and escalation point
- Liaise with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to resolve payroll issues
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
This position is based in Kochi, Kerala and is suited to professionals with proven experience in Australian and/or New Zealand payroll environments who are looking to take ownership of a critical country portfolio within a global payroll organisation.
