About the role
The employer is looking for a Freelance OPT Recruiter to join their remote talent acquisition team. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and placing candidates who are on Optional Practical Training (OPT) status with appropriate job opportunities.
As a freelancer, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for OPT candidates, from initial sourcing and screening through to successful placement. Strong knowledge of OPT regulations and the ability to match candidates with roles that align with their visa requirements is essential.
- Source and recruit OPT candidates across relevant industries and skill sets
- Screen applicants and assess their qualifications and OPT eligibility
- Coordinate with employers to understand hiring needs and compliance requirements
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment records
This is a fully remote, freelance engagement suited to a self-motivated recruitment professional with prior experience in OPT or international student hiring in the Indian or US job market.
