About the role
This position is for an experienced Merchandiser within the garment manufacturing industry, based out of Tiruppur — one of India's leading textile and knitwear export hubs. The role sits at the intersection of buyer communication, production planning, and quality oversight.
The merchandiser will be responsible for handling the complete order cycle, from receiving buyer specifications and sampling through to shipment follow-up. Key responsibilities include liaising with buyers, coordinating with internal production and quality teams, tracking timelines, and ensuring all technical requirements and delivery schedules are met.
- Manage buyer communication and order documentation
- Coordinate sampling, approvals, and bulk production schedules
- Track order progress and resolve production or quality issues promptly
- Ensure on-time delivery in line with buyer requirements
