About the role
This position is for a Merchandiser within the garments industry, based in Tiruppur — one of India's foremost textile and knitwear manufacturing hubs. The role sits at the intersection of buyer communication and production coordination, making it central to the smooth fulfilment of export or domestic orders.
The merchandiser will be responsible for overseeing orders from the point of receipt through to final dispatch, liaising with buyers, sampling teams, and production floors to ensure specifications, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate with buyers and internal teams on order requirements and approvals
- Track sampling, bulk production, and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with product specifications and quality norms
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication records throughout the order lifecycle
Candidates with relevant experience in garment merchandising and a strong understanding of the apparel supply chain are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Tiruppur's manufacturing ecosystem would be an advantage.
