About the role
A garment manufacturer located in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu is looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join its team. The role sits at the heart of the production process, acting as the key link between buyers, production teams, and suppliers.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end merchandising cycle, which includes order follow-up, sampling coordination, fabric and accessory procurement, and ensuring on-time delivery in line with buyer specifications.
- Coordinate with buyers to understand and execute order requirements
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, and production timelines
- Liaise with fabric and trims suppliers to ensure timely procurement
- Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks proactively
- Maintain accurate records of orders, communications, and shipment details
Candidates with prior experience in garment merchandising, a good understanding of the apparel supply chain, and strong communication skills are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with the Tiruppur manufacturing ecosystem will be an advantage.
