The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a sharp eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment across various manufacturing sectors in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of production lines to ensure all processes comply with quality control standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements set by relevant Indian authorities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records, logs, and reports documenting observations, measurements, and corrective actions taken during each shift.
  • Collaborate closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
  • Monitor the proper functioning and calibration of production equipment and measuring instruments, escalating maintenance requirements as needed.
  • Ensure that all workers on the production line adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company guidelines at all times.
  • Participate in internal audits, process reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance production efficiency and product reliability.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inspection summary reports to management, highlighting trends, recurring issues, and recommended improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized Indian institution.
  • At least 2–4 years of proven experience in a line inspection, quality control, or production monitoring role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, and familiarity with inspection tools including vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements as per the Factories Act, 1948, and other applicable Indian industrial regulations.
  • Excellent observational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in maintaining documentation and preparing reports using basic computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams in a multilingual work environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package in line with industry standards, along with performance-based incentives and annual increments based on appraisal outcomes.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage for the employee and immediate family members, including medical, dental, and accidental insurance benefits.
  • Opportunities for continuous professional development through company-sponsored training programs, certification courses, and skill enhancement workshops.
  • Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and gratuity benefits as per applicable Indian labor laws and government regulations.
  • A structured career growth path with opportunities to advance into senior quality assurance or supervisory roles within the organization based on performance and experience.
