About the role
An established analytics and market intelligence organisation is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to be based at its Vadodara, Gujarat office. This is a senior individual-contributor and leadership role suited to a data science professional who can both execute complex analytical work and guide team efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced statistical and machine learning models, translating large and complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define problem statements, establish analytical frameworks, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Design, build, and validate predictive and prescriptive models using modern data science techniques
- Lead and mentor junior data scientists, ensuring best practices in modelling and code quality
- Partner with business and product teams to identify opportunities where data science can drive measurable impact
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, from data acquisition and exploration through to model deployment and monitoring
Candidates should bring a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and programming, along with demonstrated experience in a senior or lead data science capacity. Experience working with large-scale consumer or market data would be an advantage for this position.
