NHS Scotland is looking to recruit a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support its catering and kitchen services. This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of food service operations within a healthcare setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, assisting catering staff with day-to-day tasks, and ensuring that equipment and work areas are kept in good order.
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils
- Assisting with the movement and storage of food supplies and catering materials
- Supporting the wider catering team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Adhering to food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times
This position is well suited to individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a similar role within a catering or hospitality setting would be an advantage.
