This role is designed for motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the management of chronic kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes. As part of this elite task force, you will work closely with nephrologists, diabetologists, and cardiologists to position Kerendia as a cornerstone therapy within the evolving cardiorenal treatment landscape in India.

This is a high-impact role that demands both clinical acumen and strategic thinking in a competitive and rapidly growing therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality scientific discussions with healthcare professionals, effectively communicating the clinical evidence, mechanism of action, and differentiated value of Kerendia.
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital-based specialists to drive formulary inclusion and treatment guideline alignment.
  • Organize and facilitate Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, round table discussions, and patient awareness initiatives in collaboration with the medical affairs team.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and prescription data to identify growth opportunities and proactively address challenges within the territory.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of field activities, customer interactions, and sales data using CRM tools in compliance with Bayer's reporting standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, marketing, and market access teams to ensure a unified and compliant approach to territory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field; an MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2 years in a specialty segment such as nephrology, diabetology, or cardiology.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive specialty pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong scientific knowledge of cardiorenal disease management, including familiarity with clinical guidelines related to chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior medical professionals.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to interpret sales analytics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasional participation in national conferences and training programs.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package including an attractive fixed salary, performance-linked incentives, and annual bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits covering medical insurance for self and family, along with employee assistance programs.
  • Structured learning and development programs, including product training, leadership development, and access to global Bayer learning platforms.
  • Opportunity to work with a globally recognized pharmaceutical brand and contribute to improving patient outcomes in a high-priority therapeutic area.
  • Supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, innovation, and professional growth within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
