We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Job Bidder to join our growing team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities on various freelancing and project-based platforms, crafting compelling proposals, and securing contracts that align with the company's service offerings. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written communication skills, a strong understanding of client requirements, and the ability to position our services competitively in a dynamic marketplace. This is a critical revenue-generating role that directly contributes to the company's growth and client acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively browse and monitor freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, and other relevant portals to identify suitable project opportunities.
- Write clear, persuasive, and customized bid proposals tailored to each client's specific project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct thorough research on client profiles, project scopes, and budget ranges to craft competitive and well-informed bids.
- Initiate and maintain professional communication with potential clients, promptly responding to queries and following up on submitted proposals.
- Collaborate closely with technical and creative teams to accurately understand service capabilities and translate them into client-facing proposals.
- Negotiate project terms, pricing, timelines, and deliverables with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain a detailed record of all bids submitted, client interactions, and conversion outcomes using CRM tools or internal tracking systems.
- Analyze bidding performance metrics regularly and implement strategies to improve proposal quality and win rates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience of 1–3 years in online bidding, business development, or a similar client-facing role on freelancing platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft professional and engaging proposals.
- Strong understanding of IT services, digital marketing, software development, or creative services to effectively bid on relevant projects.
- Familiarity with major freelancing platforms and their bidding processes, algorithms, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and meet daily or weekly submission targets.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with strong analytical and negotiation skills to maximize conversion rates.
