A prestigious luxury hotel property in Panaji, Goa is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
In this role, the Housekeeping Manager will plan, organise, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, conducting inspections, coordinating with other hotel departments, and ensuring that all procedures comply with hotel policies and brand standards.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role within a hotel environment, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Experience within a luxury or upscale hotel setting will be an advantage.
