About the role
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are cleaned, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role plays a direct part in shaping the overall guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and sanitising bathrooms
- Maintaining public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and other shared spaces in a clean and orderly condition
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the relevant department promptly
- Following all hygiene, health, and safety protocols as required
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically active, and committed to delivering a welcoming environment for every guest. Prior experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel or hospitality setting is an advantage, though a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally valued.
