Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms including bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors to ensure all surfaces are spotless and free from dust, dirt, and stains.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, ceiling fans, window sills, and other household fixtures on a regular basis.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen countertops, stovetops, sinks, and appliances while maintaining proper hygiene standards at all times.
• Wash, dry, and organize dishes, utensils, and cookware as required by the household employer.
• Collect, sort, and dispose of household waste and garbage in a responsible and timely manner.
• Wash and iron clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items as directed by the client or employer.
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns observed within the household to the appropriate person promptly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in house cleaning, domestic work, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions given in Bengali or Hindi; basic communication skills are essential.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Strong sense of honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity, as the role involves working within private residential properties.
• Familiarity with common cleaning products, tools, and techniques used in household maintenance is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings or weekends based on client schedules and household requirements.
