About the role
The employer is looking for a senior professional to head its Railways function at the Gangavaram port in Andhra Pradesh. This is a leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of railway operations within the port and Special Economic Zone environment.
The selected candidate will be expected to provide strategic and operational oversight of railway infrastructure, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external railway authorities, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant movement of freight by rail.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Leading and managing the end-to-end railway operations at the port facility
- Liaising with Indian Railways and other regulatory bodies
- Overseeing maintenance and development of railway infrastructure
- Driving operational efficiency and safety standards across rail logistics
