The employer is seeking a senior professional to lead and oversee all railway operations at its Gangavaram facility in Andhra Pradesh. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic and operational management of the railway function within the port and SEZ environment.
The role demands strong expertise in railway systems, infrastructure, and logistics, along with the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant rail movement of cargo.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Leading end-to-end railway operations at the port facility
- Ensuring compliance with applicable railway regulations and safety standards
- Coordinating with Indian Railways and other statutory bodies
- Driving operational efficiency and capacity planning for rail-based cargo movement
This is a leadership position suited to candidates with substantial experience in railway operations, preferably within a port, industrial, or heavy logistics environment.
