About the role

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced sales professional to head the India sales function at a prominent global telecommunications and communications services organisation. The role is based in Delhi and carries full accountability for the country's sales performance.

The General Manager – Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the national sales strategy, building and leading high-performing sales teams, and driving consistent revenue growth across the Indian market. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a large, distributed sales team across India
  • Setting and achieving revenue and growth targets for the India region
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the existing client base
  • Building strong relationships with enterprise clients and key stakeholders
  • Aligning sales efforts with overall business objectives and go-to-market strategy

This role is suited to a results-driven leader with a strong track record in enterprise or B2B sales, deep knowledge of the Indian market, and the ability to operate effectively within a large, matrixed global organisation.
